What You Need to Make Homemade Jalapeño Artichoke Dip

This recipe comes together in a few minutes with just a handful of simple ingredients. Here’s what you need to make it.

Equipment

Cutting board and knife – I prefer to chop the artichokes and jalapeños by hand, but you can also use a food processor if you wish. Just be careful not to process the artichokes too fine – a little texture is nice.

Small mixing bowl and spoon to mix

Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

Cream cheese – I prefer this cream cheese. It contains no gums, stabilizers or fillers, so it has a texture that is much more conducive to blending into recipes than the typical block of cream cheese you find at the grocery store. If you don’t have access to all natural cream cheese, a whipped cream cheese might also work.

Sour cream

Mayonnaise

Marinated grilled artichoke hearts

Pickled jalapeño slices – you can choose regular spicy pickled jalapeños or the tamed down version, whatever you like!

Salt and pepper

Onion powder

Pickled jalapeño brine – just a splash of the pickled brine really rounds out the flavor of this dip.
