Snacks are essential to have on hand, but most snacks from the store have questionable ingredients. These no-bake energy balls are made with eight simple, wholesome ingredients, so you can feel good about feeding them to your family.
They are great to keep in the fridge for a quick addition to breakfast, packing in lunches, or on the go snacking. With just a 10 minute prep time, they are quick and easy to make – no baking required!

Equipment
This recipe is so simple, you only need a few simple tools to make it.
Mixing bowl and spoon – you can also use a stand mixer for a hands off approach, but most the time I just mix by hand.

All natural peanut butter or almond butter

How to Make No-Bake Energy Balls
Stir quick oats, shredded coconut, chia seeds, ground flax seeds and salt to a large mixing bowl.

Add nut butter, honey, and melted coconut oil.

Stir and mash together until thoroughly combined.

Scoop mixture with a tablespoon and roll into balls. Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator up to a few days, or freeze for up to a few months.

This recipe makes 12 balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter.

1/4 cup shredded coconut
2-3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
pinch of sea salt
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Stir and mash together until thoroughly combined.
- Scoop mixture with a tablespoon and roll into balls. Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator up to a few days, or freeze for up to a few months.
